New Business Cards

These are some new business cards that I made today. My aunty who runs her own gorgeous vintage shop Indigo Moon suggested I make individual handmade business cards as they're cheaper to do than having a load printed, and they're a nice touch and make them a little bit more special.

I had fun making them they were so quick and easy to do and they look so pretty :)

The Porcelain Doll is about pretty handmade pieces and I wanted the individual business cards to reflect that even though they are all different. I used scraps from the floral fabric that I use to make my jewellery and used butterflies and flowers as a rough theme.

I made eight altogether I might make some more tomorrow

Although I'm no where near that stage yet they would be nice to hand out at craft fairs if I had a stall.

They hold regular fairs where my aunty lives in the Summer and at Christmas so maybe thats something to work towards :)

Doll sized beginnings

This is hard to know where to begin on this post, as if you are reading it, you have most likely come on over from my other blog and therefore already know who I am, meaning that posting an introduction is a bit pointless :)

But in case you don't, I'm a little bit of a jewellery addict.

I'm currently on a spending ban as I'm trying to save money for car insurance and a new i phone, and when I last went in to town I ended up buying five new rings :/. To be fair three were from Primark and only came to £8 and the other two were only £7 from New Look but still. This is what I am like as far as jewellery is concerned.

So today is quite exciting for me because I'm finally opening my own online jewellery shop

I'm only opening it on the introductory settings at the moment which means that you can only put up five pieces at a time, as I have no idea how well it will do. If it does well I will upgrade it to a bigger setting, (which would be amazing ;) but at the moment I'm just happy that I'm doing something that I like :)

About the shop

So on to the slightly more boring things you should read before you visit the shop if you should wish to :)

*I have no desire to mislead people and I really love what I do, so please read this information before purchasing anything*

Everything up for sale has been personally handmade by me. This means that some things, like the bracelets, may look ever so slightly different to the picture because they are all individual pieces.

The statement necklaces are all one off pieces, and I only make one of each necklace so I can obviously only sell one of each. As soon as one is sold I will remove it from the website and put another one up so as not to mislead people.

Although I do make more than one of the rest of the stock such as the rings and bracelets, I have limited supplies at the moment as I have no idea how well the shop will do! If an item proves to be particularly popular I will of course look at buying more materials to make the jewellery.

If you order something I will do my absolute level best to get it posted out within two days for you, but please bear in mind I make everything individually which takes time, and I also have a job, so If I get a heap load of orders through I can't guarantee you will receive an item within two days, just in case you had it ear marked for something in particular. I will try my absolute hardest to make sure that you receive your item within in a week of ordering it, and if you needed an item sooner and you were worried about the delivery times please feel free to e-mail me and I will see what I can do for you :)
